We are excited to announce Solus Short Action Pistols, a unique addition to the Solus lineup. This extension of the Solus line developed directly from the June 13th vacating of the ATF’s Pistol Brace ruling. The ability to include these product offerings to consumers opens a world of diversity on a tried-and-true platform known for durability and performance. Like the Solus Competition rifles, the heart of the Solus Pistols is the Solus Short Action, which boasts a Remington 700 short action footprint, 60-degree bolt throw, integral 20 MOA top rail, 3 lug interchangeable bolt head, dual ejectors and a “cock-on-lift” bolt design. Bedded in our 7.5” Solus Competition chassis, consumers will appreciate the purposefulness of the chassis design.
Practicality and versatility were at the forefront of the design process of the competition chassis. Users will enjoy the adjustability in the magazine catch, and thumb rest while having almost endless compatibility options including the ability to use AICS and AIWIW magazines, and tangless AR15 pistol grips. The Chassis features a 1913 rear, has an Arca and M-LOK (3, 6, &9 o’clock) compatible forend, and the night vision bridge and picatinny spigot are easy additions. The Solus pistols will come in a variety of calibers, including 300 BLK, 5.56, .223, .308 WIN, 6.5cm, and 8.6 BLK. These barrels are honed and lapped and have an elite Cerakote finish at lengths of 8”, 10.5”, and 12”. All configurations will be available in eight colors including Black, FDE, Bazooka Green, Black Cherry, SOCOM Blue, RAL8000, Copper Suede, and Tungsten. As an added bonus, and upgraded Trigger Tech Single Stage Trigger comes standard out of the box, and one Magpul 10-round PMAG is included as well.
