Biden Lies About the 2A, but Even Gun Owners Error Sometimes Regarding this God-Given Right

Well, as you heard, President Biden once again lied about the true meaning of the 2^nd Amendment this week (and about all of our rights for that matter), but sometimes even gun owners “miss the target” when describing what the 2^nd Amendment is really for.

The 2nd Amendment recognizes the God-given right to defend one's liberty and life against tyranny and genocide. The Founders of this nation did not state that citizens can only own crossbows and catapults and that only the government can own high-tech (of that time) muskets and cannon. It is a nonsensical for anyone (including so-called pro-gun individuals and politicians) to state that they believe that the  2^nd Amendment is for an individual’s defense against a tyrannical government, and then in the same breath, state, “Well, machineguns and grenade launchers should not be owned by citizens.” The 2^nd Amendment literally means that free citizens have the right to own the same weapons as the military and it has nothing to do with hunting or target shooting. It is ridiculous to think that the Founders of this nation would state that the 2A is for defense against a possible tyrannical government but intend that the citizenry be at a technological disadvantage to that tyrannical government, with a limitation on weapons which only applies to the citizenry. Get it?  And how perceptive the Founders were especially when you reflect on the genocides perpetrated by governments just in the 20^th Century, such as; the Armenian genocide of between 800,000-1.2 million, Cambodian genocide of 1.3-3 million, the genocide of between 7-12 million Ukrainians in the Holodomor by Stalin, the murder of 6 million Jews by Hitler, over 60 million murdered by the Communists in China, etc. Many so-called gun rights groups/activists need to wake up to this as well, and stop talking about firearm defense against robbers and rapists as the only reason for the 2^nd Amendment.

Remember, our government, a Republic NOT a democracy, does NOT give ANY rights in the USA -  it recognizes them, and it is illegal for government to take them away. Biden's example of "you can't yell fire in a crowded theater" is a simpleton’s analogy that only the ignorant will accept (most who have NEVER read a history book or read the writings of the Founders). What else should one expect from a life-long leftist who lived off of taxpayer funds for a living?
