BREAKING NEWS: President Trump Greenlights Red Flag Laws

Following the horrific shootings in Texas and Ohio, President Trump announced today that he has asked Attorney William Barr to go forward with efforts to pass red flag laws as well as monitoring internet sites and social media for possible hate crime offences. The president also called for bipartisanship in getting something passed quickly. In what may result in thought crime enforcement, Trump stated that he intends to disarm those deemed to be a possible violent hate crime perpetrator before they can act. It is currently unclear what act, statement, association, etc. would get one’s 2^nd Amendment rights taken away. The president also proudly mentioned his bump stock ban and his success in getting it done.

Red flag laws strip an individual of their 1^st, 2^nd, 4^th, and 5^th Amendment rights and although President Trump did emphasize that all efforts would be done within due process, this has not been the case with state red flag laws.
