First Look: Umarex M&P 40 Blowback Pistol

First Look: Umarex M&P 40 Blowback Pistol

New for 2016, Umarex has introduced a Smith & Wesson M&P 40 CO2 pistol that features a realistic all-metal slide with blowback action.

The blowback action simulates the mechanism of a real M&P 40 pistol, and the metal slide adds to a construction that is nearly indistinguishable from the real firearm. The Umarex M&P 40 comes with a 15-shot drop-free magazine. The magazine also includes a CO2 compartment.

The air pistol itself comes with an integrated accessory rail and features a white-dot front sight that is adjustable for windage. As a bonus, extra grips are included with the gun to accommodate shooters with small or large hands. The gun also features a manual safety.

The pistol has a single-action trigger that fires .177 caliber BBs at a velocity of 300 fps. Overall length is 7.5 inches, while the barrel is 3.5 inches long. The pistol will be available in March 2016 and will retail at a suggested price of $99.99.
