SIG Sauer Optics has expanded its Ballistic Data Xchange (BDX) family of products with the addition of the SIERRA6BDX super zoom riflescope line.
According to SIG, the SIERRA6BDX riflescopes bring the advanced, streamlined features of BDX 2.0 to a premium super zoom HDX optic. The product line is designed for hunters by hunters, and SIG says the scopes in the line have been optimized for every rifle and ammunition,
“Our mission with the new SIERRA6BDX riflescope line was to bring all of the advanced features of the BDX 2.0 platform to a premium 6X zoom system,” said Andy York, president of SIG Sauer’s Electro-Optics division. “These scopes feature HDX high transmission and high definition optical design, 6X magnification ranges, up to 95% light transmission, thinner Digital Focal Plane BDX-R2 hunting reticle with 194 LEDs with wind holds and up to 30 yards of Bluetooth range to BDX connected rangefinders.”
Models available include 2-12X 40mm with an MSRP of $ 1,169.99, 3-18X 44mm priced at $1,299.99 and 5-30X 56mm with an MSRP of $1,689.99. Each model features the SmartBDX reticle technology with up to 95% light transition.
