Inside the Israeli Defense Forces, Part 3: Optics

Inside the Israeli Defense Forces, Part 3: Optics

In Part 2 of Inside the Israeli Defense Forces, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Mikey Hartman of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spoke with our very own David Fortier about the art of ambush, then and now.

During this segment, they discuss and demonstrate a new rifle optic used by modern IDF soldiers.

The new optic, known as the MSE AQC Red Dot Reflex Sight, was designed by Hartman with his extensive combat and instructor experience.

The MSE AQC includes many internal features not available with current offerings on the market. For example, the MSE AQC gives operators the ability to cycle through three different reticles, as opposed to being stuck with one. This way, the operator can choose which reticle is most appropriate for any given situation.

To find out more about the MSE AQC and see how it performs at the range, check out the video below and then continue with Part 4 of Inside the Israeli Defense Forces with Lt. Col. (Ret.) Mikey Hartman.
