The CM40 is chambered in .40 S&W, has a 3-inch barrel and an overall length of 5.47 inches, with a height of 4.0 inches. The pistol weighs in at 15.8 ounces plus 1.9 ounces for the stainless steel magazine. The rear sight is steel and drift adjustable in the rear and a pinned-in polymer front sight featuring a white bar-dot configuration. The slide is machined from solid 416 stainless steel with a matte finish and is only .94" wide. Each gun is shipped with one five-round stainless steel magazine with a flush floorplate.
