The problem-plagued National Rifle Association has officially canceled their Annual Meeting & Exhibits in Houston, Texas. According to their official announcement :
We make this difficult decision after analyzing relevant data regarding COVID-19 in Harris County, Texas. We also consulted with medical professionals, local officials, major sponsors & exhibitors, and many NRA members before arriving at this decision.

The annual NRA meeting has long been an important event in the firearms industry. Typically tens of thousands of members, industry professionals and media attend the event from all over the United States. In recent years though much of the membership, and American firearm owners in general, have turned away from supporting the NRA as they have in years past due to multiple scandals which have come to light. These have been covered in detail by Firearms News investigative reports. The NRA hopes to return to Houston sometime in the future. But for 2021 the annual meeting is canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. Stay tuned to Firearms News for more info!
