Team Ruger Wins at USPSA Area 8 Championship

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. announced that Team Ruger took multiple divisional wins this past weekend at the USPSA Area 8 Championship held at Shadow Hawk Defense in Hedgesville, WV.

Dave Olhasso claimed first place in the Limited 10 division with a final score of 1,160.00 shooting the Ruger Custom Shop SR1911 Competition Pistol in .45 Auto. Teammate James McGinty took first place in the Revolver division, scoring 1,130.30 points with his Ruger Custom Shop Super GP100 Competition revolver chambered in 9mm Luger.

“This was my first time visiting this range and the Area 8 staff did a great job setting up a fun and challenging match,” said Olhasso. “My Ruger Custom Shop SR1911 continued to run strong and helped me to my third division win in as many weekends.”
