One of the best parts of the annual SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada is exploring the show floor for new companies and products. Everyone already knows that the big-name companies will have new products worth checking out, but the real fun is heading to what we call the basement to look for new products. Even if you walk the basement a dozen times, you’ll still come across companies you’ve missed somehow. This year, the Firearms News team came across an awesome company called Riptide Armory , and the short version of this story is that they make some awesome cleaning agents and lubricants for firearms.
Founded by former U.S. Navy SEAL Troy Malesky, Riptide Armory works to use the most cutting-edge technology available for optimal gun performance. Malesky spent time downrange where he quickly learned what works and what doesn’t, but he also led an advanced training wing as a Naval Special Warfare Operator.
