A little preview of something we have been playing with. A Flux Defense Stabilizing Brace and its matching white light mount/spare magazine carrier mounted onto a Glock 35 MOS. Why a Glock 35? Because it allows multi-caliber capability, easily swapping from .40 S&W to .357 SIG and 9mm Parabellum. The Flux Defense auto-deploying brace is a very interesting piece which works very well. We went one step further by adding .22 LR to the mix with this Tactical Solutions conversion slide assembly. The threaded barrel facilitates easy mounting of the SureFire Ryder sound suppressor. Weighing in at just 2.6 pounds with two magazines it makes for an extremely compact semi-automatic .22 LR for plinking, small game hunting or as a stow-away “Survival” gun. And no NFA tax stamp is required! Keep an eye out for our sister title Pistol and a future issue of Firearms News magazine for more on the Flux Defense (www.FluxDefense) stabilizing brace and Tactical Solutions’ (www.TacticalSol.com) .22 LR slide assembly.
